Hi, I’m Rose Austin!

Born with a heart for growing things, I grew up on an organic vegetable and dairy goat farm in Virginia Beach. I was schooled in horticulture receiving an AAS technical degree from Reynolds Community College. I have worked for years in Charlottesville and Richmond planting meadow gardens, kitchen gardens and container gardens.

I love all things flora and fauna and am passionate about gifting others my green thumb so they can enjoy the beauty of nature.

My greatest delight is adorning porches, window boxes and raised beds with luscious and overflowing plant life so you can sit back and enjoy your home or business.

My Approach

I am customer led in my designs but I love to include natives, if possible, and food for our pollinators! It’s always a treat to have herbs you can cut and use in your cooking or small business that add color and texture to your plantings. I take the colors of your home, general use of your space and personal client preferences into account when designing.
